	New Program Alert: Autumn Splendor It's so hard to believe that summer has come to an end, when it seems it just started. Yet, even though our kids are still breaking in their book bindings at school, we're already inundated with Halloween messages, displays, and - wow, even candy - filling the stores. This season, we've decided to add a little visual "breathing space" into our offerings, with the introduction of Autumn Splendor. This new program is designed to fill that crafting void between summer's end and Halloween, with the rich colors and images of fall. Look for Autumn Splendor in Michael's stores nationwide right now. 	Slice: The Newsletter It has its own Facebook page, its own fan site, and endless user groups online. So we thought it was only time that the Slice also had its very own newsletter. Starting this month, we will spin off news about the Slice in a once-a-month email blast that will go to its own group of subscribers. The new Slice newsletter will be filled with messages from our executive team, delightful projects, plus video links that will detail steps to improve the Slice's performance and expand its potential. If you are a Slice owner (or hope to be someday), sign up for the new Slice newsletter today. 	You Deserve a Sticker It's back to school time, when teachers use stickers to reward good behavior. Why not take a moment to reward yourself for surviving the summer, with some delightful stickers of your very own. Our new Design Shop program are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face, with creative and multi-dimensional designs that effortlessly pop off your page. If we had our way, we'd give all of you a set of stickers for being such great and loyal customers. However, since that might upset our bosses, it seems a contest might be a better way to go! Please take a moment to visit our blog and tell us about your favorite accomplishment of the summer, and we'll select four people at random who will receive a colorful collection of Design Shop stickers as a congratulations.
	Baby Boom! There must be something in the water, because the Making Memories family has grown rapidly in the past month! Our own little baby boom has made this place come to life, and we're surrounded with pink and blue and giggles. What could be better? Please join us in welcoming the newest Making Memories family members, including: Precious baby Owen, son to Jodi from our sales department Beautiful baby Tessa Jo, daughter to Rich from our sales department Darling baby Anna, daughter to Ryan in our marketing department Fabulous baby Gabriel, son to Maricarmen in our marketing department And, delightful Baby Mikayla was JUST born to Brian at our distribution center (therefore, we don't have her photo to share just yet!) Happy and healthy babies everywhere! And as we speak, we are awaiting the delivery Jayme's sweet baby girl - who is due any day. Aren't we blessed?!
